Анотація
У статті розкривається значущість огляду місця події як засобу збирання доказів у кримінальному провадженні. На основі аналізу слідчої та судової практики розглядаються окремі процесуальні аспекти огляду місця події, ігнорування яких призводить до втрати доказів або створює загрозу збирання неналежних доказів. Акцентується увага на помилках логічного та методичного характеру, яких припускаються суб’єкти проведення огляду місця події, що унеможливлює власне виявлення певних фактичних даних під час цієї процесуальної дії та використання їх як доказів. Пропонується науковий інструментарій у вигляді обґрунтованих алгоритмів для суб’єктів проведення огляду місця події, спрямований на недопущення проаналізованих помилок. Відстоюється позиція, що застосування запропонованого інструментарію наближатиме суб’єктів до ефективного досягнення мети огляду місця події у вигляді зібраних належних і допустимих доказів.
