Aeroballistic (ballistic) missile Hwasong-11Ga/Hwasong-11A (KN-23)

Abstract

The article discusses some aspects of missile weapons research on the example of the Hwasong-11Ga/Hwasong-11A (KN-23) aeroballistic (ballistic) missile, the relevance of which is due to their constant use by Russia. Since December 29, 2023, Russia has been carrying out massive missile strikes against Ukraine with missiles of this type, using them to hit military and civilian targets. Currently, research institutions of foren sic science are receiving many case files related to North Korean-made KN-23/KN-24 ballistic missiles for examination. There are currently no methods that would define clear and effective algorithms for solving these problems. Information in scientific, technical and reference liter ature and other information sources is not systematized, often contra dictory and incomplete. The purpose of the study is to form a regulatory and methodological framework for conducting expert research during the investigation of events related to the use of North Korean-made KN 23/KN-24 missiles. The methods of system analysis, cause-and-effect analysis, direct structural analysis, general scientific methods of analy sis, synthesis, abstraction and generalization were used in the course of the research. The materials of the study will be used in research work on the relevant topics, which will contribute to the development of a unified methodological approach to the examination of events related to the use of North Korean-made KN-23/KN-24 missiles by Russia.
