Special knowledge and competence of a judicial expert mining technician

Abstract

The article deals with problematic issues related to the application of special knowledge of a judicial expert in mining technician in conducting a mining technical expertise. Considered requirements regarding the necessary amount of special mining technical knowledge and professional competence of a judicial expert to perform investigation of circumstances and causes of emergency events caused by violations of the requirements of safety rules and work technology in the production environment of the mining industry according to methods of developing deposits and directions of mining. The content of special mining technical knowledge consists of the general theory and practice of mining, engineering and knowledge of technologies for the development and extraction of minerals in the coal, ore and non-ore branches of the mining industry, and knowledge of the requirements of legislative and regulatory acts on labor protection to ensure safe working conditions. In the mining industry, there are several branches and areas of development, extraction and beneficiation of minerals, which are characterized by the type of minerals and the conditions of their occurrence and are divided by development methods: underground method, open method and combined method of development of mining.
