Abstract
This article is devoted to a description of approaches to prevent the investigation of websites in order to establish a violation of copyright, including the facts of the creation of such a copyright object as a website, as well as the investigation mark that indicate the similarity/identity of websites, located behind different domain addresses. According to the authors, a website is a set of data, electronic (digital) information, in particular objects of copyright and/or related rights, etc., interconnected and structured within the website address and/or account of the owner of such a website, which is accessed through an Internet address, which may consist of a domain name, directory or call records and/or a numerical Internet Protocol address. The article provides a comprehensive classification of websites based on their characteristics, for example: delivery technology, content, content, and so on. A formal algorithm for tracking websites has been developed and a sign has been installed that indicates the similarity/identity of websites located at different domain addresses, which is based on expert practice. The approaches proposed by the authors of the article on element-by-element study of the website as an object of intellectual property in modern conditions represent the most rational algorithm, which is recommended to be used during forensic examinations.
