Abstract

The article explores the mechanisms of destructive communicative and speech influence within the context of current tasks of comprehensive psychological and linguistic forensic examination in criminal proceedings related to high treason, collaborative activities, propaganda, incitement of hatred, etc. The research problem lies in the significant increase in the volume and complexity of these tasks since the beginning of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in 2022, amid the absence of a unified methodological framework. The purpose of the study is to update existing scientific and methodological developments, analyze psychological indicators and tools of destructive communicative and speech influence in propaganda, and substantiate the need to integrate psychological and linguistic components into a unified methodology for comprehensive psychological and linguistic examination. The methodological basis comprises a complex of scientific cognition methods: analysis of scientific literature, a systems approach, comparative analysis of specialist competencies, generalization of forensic practice, definitional analysis, and the monographic method. The scientific novelty consists in the systematization of the mechanisms of destructive communicative and speech influence, the differentiation and definition of integration tasks for expert psychologists and linguists, and the substantiation of the necessity for a unified methodology of comprehensive forensic psychological and linguistic examination. The conclusions emphasize that destructive communicative and speech influence is a complex phenomenon implemented through suggestion, manipulation, dehumanization, indoctrination, and emotional contagion. It is noted that the psychological component is indispensable, as it establishes the intentional direction of the speaker’s speech activity and the potential perlocutionary effect. Finally, the effective implementation of comprehensive psychological and linguistic examination tasks requires both a clear demarcation and the integration of the competencies of expert psychologists and linguists within a single unified methodological tool.
