Abstract
The article highlights the problems of semantic and textual exam ination in cases of incitement to hatred. The author identifies the linguis tic features of the language means containing signs of incitement to religious hatred in the context of semantic and textual examination. For the first time, the application of semantic and textual expertise as one of the forms of using special knowledge in cases related to incitement to hatred on religious grounds is analyzed and illustrated by examples of the examinations performed. The author analyzes the use of certain linguistic constructions which indicate signs of incitement to religious hatred. The author emphasizes the manipulative impact on the mass addressee of the use of messages with aggressive semantics by the ad dressees. The importance of conducting semantic and textual exam inations is emphasized, since constant aggressive statements in public space are transformed into hostile attitudes and hatred in society, which leads to a real threat of mass incitement to hatred on religious grounds
