Abstract
The author of the article identifies four stages of the process of building and testing of forensic versions (preparatory, search-and-forming, operational, and evaluation) and, in accordance with these stages, determines the specific tasks that subjects of pre-trial investigation have to solve. It notes that providing specific major tasks enables a deeper understanding by the subjects of the pre-trial nature of the process of building and testing forensic versions, timely detection and elimination of errors, and achieving effective results in pre-trial investigation and crime detection.References
