Abstract
Today, artificial intelligence is playing a crucial role in global tech nological development, driving innovation and scientific breakthroughs. Its rapid development is forcing us to reassess the impact of this tech nology on various industries, including the economy, medicine, justice, and transportation. The article highlights key breakthroughs in certain industries that have occurred due to the development of artificial intel ligence. Particular attention is paid to the prospects of its use in foren sic examination, where it can significantly improve the quality of expert research by automating data analysis, recognizing patterns and in creasing the accuracy of conclusions. In particular, the author considers the areas of research in railway and transportation expertise in which artificial intelligence can be used. It is concluded that despite the sig nificant potential of artificial intelligence, the human factor remains in dispensable in forensic examinations, since it is the expert who is able to critically evaluate the results obtained, take into account the context of the case and make informed decisions in the face of ambiguity or in complete data. The combination of traditional expert approaches with modern artificial intelligence technologies will ensure an increase in the level of expert research, reduce the time for their implementation and minimize the likelihood of errors. It is emphasized that in order to re main competitive, forensic experts should constantly improve their skills and cooperate with specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. An important aspect of this process is mastering new technologies, adapt ing to rapid changes in the industry, and introducing innovative analysis methods, which will allow experts to remain in demand and effectively apply modern approaches in their practice.
