Abstract

The urgency of the problem is shown in the necessity and is connected with annual increase of economic crimes in the sphere of goods and services in Ukraine. Expertise of fibrous materials and fibers allows revealing violations that are connected with disagreement of rough structure of textile materials and complete products with approved standards and norms and also information, which is stated on the coding tape, label or price tag. The authors developed the method, which is based on correlation of data that were obtained simultaneously by using of two methods — chemical and optical. This method is used to determine fibrous structure of textile products that were produced from half-woolen or half-cotton materials. “Diagram of Dispersion” shows the nature of data correlation and is the tool that allows determining mass fraction of cotton (wool) in two-component yarn according to the data that were obtained only by use of optical method. Quickness of analysis, safety, possibility of making an analysis by use of microsampling is an advantage of optical method in comparison with chemical method
