Abstract
The article discusses the problematic issues that arise during forensic examinations and expert investigations of fires caused by emergency modes in the operation of electrical equipment and power networks. It also highlights typical deficiencies in documenting the scene during initial investigative actions.
Based on these findings, the article concludes that to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality outcome when collecting and transferring evidence for subsequent forensic analysis, it is essential to involve specialists from various fields of knowledge in the scene inspection and ensure their close, synchronous interaction.
