Abstract

The article examines the problems of the use of an expert’s opinion in legal practice as one of the key pieces of evidence in court, including research related to the determination of damage and losses caused to Ukraine as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation, the determination of the very fact of aggression, taking into account amendments to some normative legal acts on issues of forensic 83 Криміналістика і судова експертиза. Випуск 68 expert activity in the context of the independent collection of materials by a forensic expert as part of his professional duties. The issue of further assessment of the expert’s opinion was investigated in accordance with the procedure provided for by law.
