Abstract
The article refers to methodological recommendations developed in the order of implementation in the Kiev Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the scientific topic “Expert evaluation and classification of failures in the operation of aggregates, devices and mechanisms for transmissions of vehicles that are not the result of a road traffic accident.” These methodological recommendations determine the general provisions, principles and methods on the basis of which it is recommended to search for malfunctions in the operation of mechanisms and aggregates of the vehicle transmission and their determination of the causes from the occurrence, as part of the examination of the technical condition of vehicles.
The application of these methodological recommendations provides an expert examination of the technical condition of the transmission units of vehicles on a single methodological basis.
During the development of methodological recommendations, the results of modern scientific research, practical experience of conducting auto-technical examinations and studies in the system of forensic institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine were used.
The developed methodical approaches contain general principles for the performance of an expert study of the technical condition of aggregates and components of transmissions of vehicles.
